Webconference “Les vaccins à ARN, vers une nouvelle ère de la vaccination” – March 29, 2021

18 March 2021 par Isabelle Frapart
Chantal Pichon, Professor at the University of Orléans and team leader at the CBM, speaks in this webconference organized by the Bio3 Institute of the University of Tours

As part of the management of the health crisis linked to Covid19, new therapeutic strategies have emerged: messenger RNA vaccines. But what are we talking about exactly? This new vaccine model raises many questions.
What is an RNA vaccine? How is it made? How does it work ? This webconference aims to shed scientific light, with Prof. Chantal Pichon, specialized in innovative therapies using RNA. She will explain the role of messenger RNAs, their use and their interest in therapy, and will give a general portrait of this new vaccine paradigm. Intended as interactive, this webconference will allow everyone to understand, reflect and participate in the public debate in an informed way on these innovative therapies.

The conference takes place from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021.
