Research at the CBM is structured in 4 research departments which group 16 teams:

- Molecular, Structural and Chemical Biology

- Chemistry, Imaging and Exobiology

- Biology and Biophysics of Receptors, Translational Applications

- Nanomedicines et Nanoprobes

and a cross-functional Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Team
