Everything you've always wanted to know about inflammation but were afraid to ask
Inflammation plays a central role in maintaining homeostasis and responding to external aggressions. Essential for the body's defense, it can nevertheless become harmful when it escapes regulatory mechanisms. This duality is reminiscent of the concept of yin and yang, where two opposing and complementary forces coexist. Understanding this balance is now a major challenge in biomedical research. This webinar will explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms of inflammation, its protective functions, and its pathological manifestations. The discussions will combine fundamental and clinical approaches, highlighting the factors influencing the resolution or chronicity of inflammation. This event will foster an integrative and transdisciplinary perspective. The goal is to propose new therapeutic approaches for the prevention and management of inflammatory diseases.
