Martin Soucé
After studying chemistry in Austria and Germany at Vienna and Saarbrücken universities and earning a doctorate in chromatography under Prof. Heinz Engelhardt, I continued my training with a postdoctoral fellowship in the United States with Professor Georges Guiochon.
Back in Europe, I obtained a position as a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy at Châtenay-Malabry, then at Tours. Since beginning my teaching and research career in France, I have taught analytical chemistry, particularly chromatography. I currently lead a professional bachelor's degree program that trains future senior technicians in the quality control of therapeutic proteins.
In my research, I participate in my colleagues' projects by developing chromatographic methods and interpreting the results. Applications include the quantification of cosmetic active ingredients and monitoring their degradation, and the characterization of monoclonal antibodies and their conjugates, among others.
