Summary

The skin's barrier function is a natural obstacle that can significantly reduce the penetration and therefore the effects of cosmetic active ingredients. Formulations that are now more ecological must promote the diffusion of active ingredients, to produce their effect, without altering the biological functions of the skin barrier. The objective of the project is to develop a multi-methodological analytical approach, notably involving confocal Raman microspectroscopy, providing a complete response to the needs of objectification of cosmetic products, to determine the profiles and/or kinetics of penetration and to study molecular interactions at the skin level.
