About CBM
The Center for Molecular Biophysics (CBM) develops research at the interface of chemistry, biology and physics to study the molecular mechanisms that sustain life or dysfunctions leading to disease.
Overview
CBM research is organised around 4 scientific departments, a platform for large instrumentation and a research support service.
The center foster strong interdisciplinary competences in Chemistry, Biology & Physics.
It hosts an IBISA & CNRS Chimie labelised platform.
CBM main buildings are located on the CNRS Campus of Orléans. The NMNS Department is hosted by the Pharmaceutical School of the University of Tours.
CBM Organisation Chart
Under the supervision of CNRS Chimie, the CBM is a CNRS Laboratory, associated with Orléans and Tours Universities.
The governance of CBM is supported by 3 entities :
a Laboratory council
a Scientific Council
