Jean-Marc Bonmatin co-author of an article on the effects of SDHI fungicides on fish

The article published in Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (impact factor 6.1) describes the effects of SDHI fungicides on species other than the target microfungi: freshwater fish (carassin family). For example, bixafen and boscalid inhibit complex II of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Low concentrations of fluopyram also alter fish behaviour and inhibit AChE or affect the lipid content in muscles.
