Septuce Zin, a PhD student at the CBM, has completed a parabolic flight aboard the A310 ZERO-G!

A butterfly peptide to combat resistant fungi
Researchers from the CBM's “NMR of Biomolecules” team have identified the molecular target of ETD151, an antifungal peptide optimized from butterfly defensins. Active against a range of pathogenic fungi, this antifungal peptide thus opens up its full potential in both medicine and agriculture.
Marcin Suskiewicz, winner of funding from the Human Frontier Science Program, a prestigious international organisation
This funding will enable him to continue his work on transcription factors, a fundamental cellular regulation mechanism that is still incompletely understood.

As part of the ‘Etonnante chimie pour un grand oral percutant’ project, the ‘Metal complexes and MRI’ team hosted a class from Tours.
Recruitment of 2 Research Assistants on one-year fixed-term contracts
Most of the teaching will take the form of lectures and practical work on general physics in the Physics degree course, with the research part being carried out at the CBM.
