CBM research programs are supported by the CNRS and other public structures or non-profit associations/charities.

Research carried out at CBM is financially supported by the CNRS but also by public and non-governmental structures and charity foundations.

CBM researchers participate in various research projects supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR) or by the European Union under the framework program H2020 (COST, Marie Skłodowska-Curie, etc.). They also receive strong support from the local government (Conseil Régional du Centre-Val de Loire) through its various financing schemes (APR-IR, APR-IA, etc.) and are strongly involved in the regional Ambition Research & Development (ARD) program "Cosmetosciences ".

Research on various pathologies - including cancers and neuromuscular or neurodegenerative diseases - is supported by Cancéropôle Grand-Ouest and charity foundations such as Ligue contre la Cancer, ARC Foundation, Foundation for Medical Research, AFM Téléthon, Fondation Jerome Lejeune.

CBM teams maintain close links with the SOLEIL synchrotron and actively participate in several regional research networks (RTRs) including Biotechnocentre (Biological Sciences & Biotechnologies), MotivHealth (Drug discovery) and FERI (Infectious Diseases).

CBM also collaborates with many private companies, from start-ups (Repropharm Vet, YRiNA SAS) or small size entities (Polytheragene, Remedials, Libragen, Greenpharma, Glycodiag) to large national and international companies (LVMH , Servier Laboratories, Pierre Fabre Drugs, GE Healthcare, Bayer Crop Sciences, Guerbet, IMV Technologies, Axyntis).

CBM is involved in the French national competitiveness cluster "Cosmetic Valley”.
